A. Major Release Items

1. None

B. Minor Release Items

1. Restrict Choices for Inbox User Company, Group, Department, and Subgroup Selection Fields

The Campaign Builder now enables users to restrict what an Inbox member user sees when they are assigned a task with a field that allows company, group, department, or subgroup selection. This is an optional configuration under the field’s Restricted tab. If the box is checked then the user only sees companies to which they are associated.

The company and group restriction also restricts departments and subgroups within restricted companies and groups.

The user experience in the Inbox is the same as unrestricted selection fields.

Restricted choices applies to:

  • Company Selection Field

  • Single Select Drop Down List

  • Single Select Radio Button List

  • Enhanced Delegation of a Task

This logic does not apply to Admin/Primary Admin users since by default they have the ability to see everything already.

To configure restricted selection fields in the Campaign Builder, select the field to restrict, open the Restricted tab, and check the Restrict Company Selection For Members? box. The process is the same for all four field types.
