The task work area includes three tabs: Task, Assignments, and Log.

  • The Search tool is helpful when there is more than one page of tasks.

  • If a task is At Risk or Overdue a badge indicating the status appears on the task card.

The task work area includes three tabs; Task, Assignments, and Log.

The Task tab includes:

  • Status

  • Number of points assigned

  • Estimated duration of the task

  • Due date

  • Date the task was assigned.

If data is not available, the cards will not display.

Below Instructions and task fields are below the task details. This is where the task is completed.

The Assignments tab displays the user (Actor) that completed the task and the Actors (users) assigned to the task.

The Completed By field displays the user that completed the task. If the task is not completed the field will display Incomplete.

The Actors field displays an individual user assignment or users in an assigned user group of which the user is a member. If an assigned user delegated the task to another user, the delegate will display.

The Task area Log tab displays log entries by users assigned to the task. Entries are sorted by entry date, from the newest to the oldest.

Update or Delete the entry using the Edit or Delete icons.





To create a log entry click the Add Comment button.

Rivet will open the Add Entry form.



Enter comments using the formatting tools (options below) at the top of the comment area.

Click the Save button. Rivet will save the log entry for future reference.
