In the Campaign Builder users may restrict Inbox Assignment for Member-level users. Restrictions are available for Companies, Departments, and a Departments-only Inbox Assignment option.
Inbox Assignment Restriction Definitions

Restrict Company Selection For Members? | Inbox user may only select a company in which they are a member, in order to assign that company to a task, module, or approval tier. |

Inbox users will only see Departments for Inbox Assignment options.
When selecting a department, the Company selection is restricted to only Companies in which they are a member.
They are able to see and assign all Departments within those Companies.

Inbox users will only see Departments for Inbox Assignment options.
When selecting a department, the Company selection is not restricted.
Within those companies, they may only see and assign Departments in which they are a member.
