Before someone can complete tasks in Rivet, they must create a Rivet user membership. Adding users to your Rivet organization account is done through invitation only. Existing users invite prospective users via Rivet.
|
Tip |
---|
Before creating an invitation for a prospective user, consider which choice below makes the most sense for the new member: Invite the new user to Rivet immediately, even if they will have no assignments when they create their membership and login. Configure the invitation to be held by Rivet and sent only when an assignment becomes available for the new user.
|
Note |
---|
Existing users cannot manually create new user memberships for prospective users. When a user is unable to receive the Password Reset emails, remind them that their username may or may not be their email address.
|
In the case of Individual-type campaigns, prospective users may be invited from the Campaign Builder configuration window during the creation of a new campaign.
Image AddedIn the Assignments panel for a campaign, module, or task, click +Add Assignment.
Rivet will display the Assignments popup window.
Click the New Invitation tab, enter an email address for the prospective member, and click Save.
If the campaign is already published Rivet will immediately email the invitation to the prospective user. and assign them to the campaign, module, or task.
If the campaign has not been published Rivet will email the invitation to the prospective user when the campaign is published.
When the user creates a new membership Rivet will automatically assign them to the campaign, module, or task.
